BOARD OF TRUSTEE'S
WORK SESSION-MEETING MINUTES
March 12th, 2010
at the Forklift Restaurant, Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort
Snowbird, UT.

The work session meeting commenced at 11:50 a.m. Mr. Hanson provided the attending trustees with the following items for discussion.
Trustees were given copies of the February 12th, 2010 Work Session Meeting Minutes as well as the February 16th, 2010 Board Meeting Minutes. Board members also received current and revised copies sections #1 through #4 of the Policies and Procedures Policy.
1. Mr. Hanson discussed issues relating to status of Source Protection ordinance, which is in review with Salt Lake County.
2. We took delivery of the new Service Area utility truck, which was outfitted by AG Truck to our specifications.
3. Steve McIntosh and Monica Lisenbee attended the RWAU annual conference in St. George, March 2nd through March 5th, 2010. Mr. Hanson was also away from the office during this time and reported of no major problems. There were some issues with filter #2 in the treatment plant. Fortunately, Ms. Hunsaker was able to make process changes.
4. Mr. Hanson reported that the Legislature is now out of session. Bills passed this year have no affect on the Service Area. The annexation bill was pulled and will be studied by committe and possibly revisited next session.
5. Hansen, Barnett & Maxwell have scheduled an audit start date of April 5, 2010.
6. Mr. Hanson continues to discuss the preliminary design work for the treatment plant with Pureflow. A comparison of installing air versus electric actuated valves is being reviewed.
7. Mr. Hanson reported of a pressure pump failure and main line repair at the Mid-Gad Restaurant a few weeks ago.
8. Mr. Hanson reviewed current and revised copies of sections #1 through section #4 of the Service Area-Policies and Procedures manual with the trustees.
There being no further business to be discussed the work session meeting closed at 12:30 p.m.
