BOARD OF TRUSTEE'S

WORK SESSION-MEETING MINUTES

August 14th, 2009

at the Forklift Restaurant, Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort

Snowbird, UT.

The work session meeting commenced at 12:00 p.m. Mr. Hanson provided the attending trustees with the following items for discussion.

Trustees were given copies of the July 17th, 2009 work session meeting minutes and the July 21st, 2009 board meeting minutes.

1. Mr. Hanson noted a revision to the agenda for the August 18th, 2009 regular board meeting. Trustee Borgione requested a time change to begin the meeting at 1:00 p.m. instead of 12:00 p.m. Attending trustees had no conflict with this schedule change.

2. Mr. Hanson has discussed his concerns with ULGT regarding the CBIZ property calculations for the Service Area. Revisions have been made and the properties of concern have now been revalued at the appropriate rate.

3. The board received copies of the billing worksheet for Snowbird Corp. Mr. Hanson discussed Seven Summits with the board and how Snowbird should be billed for usage. Ms. Borgione recommended to bill for Seven Summits during the ski season.

4. Mr. Hanson discussed the current situation with our operator Daniel Spor. The Service Area will continue to keep Daniel Spor on the payroll, which equates to 6 hours per pay period.

5. Mr. Hanson is in the process of cutting and lowering the fiber optic box in front of the fire station. This week we will begin cutting the door into the Peruvian Reservoir.

6. Rural Water Association of Utah will be holding their northern conference in Layton on 8/26 & 8/27. Mr. Hanson, Mr. McIntosh and Ms. Hunsaker will be attending. Ms. Hunsaker will be taking the water system grade IV test.

7. Mr. Hanson updated the board on the Alta Bay City project. The christening of the plant will take place on September 9, 2009. The State of Utah-Division of Drinking Water will be holding their board meeting the same day in the Town of Alta. Mr. Hanson reported that we are on schedule and the next step is to load the meda into filters.

8. Jim Baker and Lee Heron have referred two scientists to Mr. Hanson to discuss their research of using compressed air in mine tunnels to generate power.
